What do we do best when we can't sleep... Yeah you got it...!
I was wide awake at 4.30am this morning so had a cup of tea with my man before he left for work and then went up to play...1
I had put the orange and basic grey back ground papers on weeks ago and was undecided how to finish it off, I must have had a bit of a foggy brain as I managed to finish it off..
My old work friend from when I had a proper job leaves on friday so I bought her an address book and a pen and have made half a dozen cards to go in a little bag that was sent to me in an RAK from PCP... The small leaving/ birthday card I have made reminds me of the good old days when we worked together and put the work place to rights... Lol.. We had loads of fun and nearly 6 years down the line I still miss the place so baddly (I got made redundant)..
Well I best get ready for work although I could do with an hour in bed now...!
I only have a short day today so may post again later today.
Sorry I've not been around for a couple of day but I've been a little bit busy, although I have made another CD holder...to hold the discs of my new grandchild that is due in november
This may even turn into a Birthday book as my small 4x4 Cards will fit inside. It has so many different uses. I already have a few in use for discs so to use it for something different would be great..
The inside pages are just made from an A4 piece of card stock laid horizontally then
scored at the depth of your choice (mine about a third of the way down then is folded turned to portrait and folded in half.
What ever your dimensions add a couple of mm all way around and this will be your cover size. I used mount board for my cover as it is thicker than cardboard.
I'm sorry about measurement as I never measure anything but do it by eye. I'm lucky that my hubby still works at the printers where I was his boss and he gets me stuff like mount board cut if and when I need it, again with out measurements ( Jimmy bless him is a god send and has just become a dad for the first time) I just sent a piece of the card folded and said I need it cut to that size with a couple of mm extra. I ended up last time with a box full of this same size mount board so just do different books & albums. Well I think this is enough gobbldy gook from me today. Just have fun and play all day...!

Well i've not done much today, although I did have to call into the craft shop.... Hey my friend that works there has just returned from holiday so it was a must that I call in and say Hello...! That is my story and i'm sticking to it.. My purse was a little lighter though when I came out.! Lol..
The christmas card is made using an image that a Paper Craft Planet friend sent me last week. The second card was made using an old stamp that was stored away and not been used for quite a while, At his feet I have used flower soft...!
Tomorrow I may have to stamp some images of other stamps that time has forgotten....!
I will be back tomorrow if I've had chance to play...!

I've had a bit of a strange day.. I'm self employed as a domestic cleaner and Home Help and my first 2 clients had not left me any money...! Then I went on to meet a new client that wanted some ironing doing, I tend to go along and say hello first then make a date to return and do the job either myself or one of my fab staff. I ended up with a cup of tea as soon as I walked in then shown up to where the ironing was all set out.. after the initial horror elapsed I just got on with it.. An hour or so later it was all done, my hubby and son will never believe me when I tell them I have done some ironing today... My son normally does it although he has left home now ;o(
Any how let me tell you what I have been playing at today....!
Then I came home and had a House Mouse thing going on today...
I've used a mixture of papers today sent to me in various different RAKs send from the wonderful friends I have made on Paper Craft Planet.. One day I will learn how to put a link on so that you can go straight to my PCP page....!
I have also used my copics again as i'm trying to get better with them but, that could take me a very long time...Lol..!

So what did I do to my box after yesterdays post...
I added a handle, some flowers, leaves and some H&S Images..
The sides were left without flowers as They will only get tatty when they are stacked in the corner..
This one will house my 8x8 card and yes I have started another one but not sure what to keep in it.. Maybe my mass of ribbons, although I would need a few more boxes for that idea. My 8x8 papers need a home so I may do that. What would you use one for????
My friend who gave me them works in a craft shop and can get me more if I want any...I said yes please before she could catch her breath..
I also made some other flowers yesterday....

My friend yesterday gave me 3 boxes nice big boxes, so I have played for a while and this is how far I have come today, but I hope to finish off tomorrow so please call back and see what happened next..

Well I rushed trough the rest of my cleaning as once I had a taste for my craft room I just wanted to do more...Lol..even now i'm going to watch a film with hubby and had to bring something downstairs to do...so my nice tidy room will be full of scraps of paper again at bedtime..
Why can't we stop once we start?
The cards i'm adding have been done with both my copics and my Whispers pens..
My new stamps arrived this morning but promised to do my windows before playing. So now I have done my windows made some flowers, then steamed my kitchen floor and the blinds that I took down earlier are nearly dry so in between I had to play a little. Well I needed the rest and deserved a break...
That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it... but now I must get back to my cleaning ;o(

I loved making this book in a class last year. The papers are from Blonde Moments or Art from the Heart (I can't do a link to her shop yet but give me a chance to work things out on here!)All these papers are wonderful and come in a few colours, there is the monochrome and the Zesty which are my fave, but i'm running out fast. I don't even think they are printed any more ;o(
Dyan please bring them back to life...! I need more..
These are a few photos of just a few pages. I must make another one soon.. How many times do we say that in a days crafting..Lol...

Well I'm back again with a few bits that I have been making. I saw some 'Airfresheners' on a blog a few weeks ago and thought what a lovely gifts for my friends and family, although I need to make some for the Boys too!
I need to emboss the larger plain flowers or maybe stamp a few swirls on some. Some other oils too will be bought very soon as i'm now fed up with the lavender that I had given.
Most of the card and paper stock I have used is from my 'scrap' box.
The large airfreshener will not go into the car as it is a little bit too big so may have to hang in the downstairs 'loo'.

I had best put at least a photo on here.. I made 2 cards with this same image and loved them so took them to a recent card class to ask if the shading etc was ok. When I got the other card out I was horrified to see her hair was green, thatwill learn me to colour when the sun had almost gone so had no natural light..!
