Hi,

I wanted to do this one last post here before I put my laptop to rest. I am having to type this with one hand as my other is holding up the lid as the hinges have both gone now ;o(

I have been telling you all about the project I sent in to the Magnolia mag and as I have had no confirmation that they are going to use it here it is. It started life as a box that my hug boot type slippers my son bought me last christmas.

Sorry I have not been around but we are having a run of bad luck just now, health wise and with the cars too...

Just been messing today with some photos.. I do not have many good ones of my Welsh grandchildren them my son told me I could download them from his facebook page.. Lol.. How thick am I...

So I spent a couple of hours trawling through the albums and put some onto a "Toggle" and had some printed out yesterday it cost me a fortune but will keep me happy and quiet for a few days....

I had a bit of fun yesterday making soap....I was in the mood to do something different and easy..So I went upstairs and reach down the soap making kit I bought a few months ago.I never thought of taking photos but I will next time I make some... I can't wait for Christmas this year...Lol... at least I'm getting ahead..

The other thing I have been doing is painting some box sets (the ones that stack inside each other) that I bought months ago ready to decorate and make books to go inside...

The picture framing shop got raided by me again yesterday as I was passing. He is great in there as he gives me all his waste... I always put some money in the charity box though..

Well I best hurry as I'm making parsnip and apple soup and do not want it to spoil.....!

Just a quick post as I have the worst week ever..

I bought this box at NEC to decorate and have done it over the last 2 days..

What better to decorate it with but my new spring Magnolia Kit...

Anyone reading the H&S posts on Paper Craft Planet will know my head is all over the place just now and did not think about what I was doing properly... I used Gesso on the plain bare wood as a base and then stamped my new images onto the box, then used my distress inks to colour them with. Not thinking about it being waterbased I then covered it in Distress Clear Crackle paint...Lol..

Any normal time I would have thought about it..the next ones I buy will be coloured with my copics...

I am still very happy with the effect I have just that the colours smudged a bit...!

The pictures are not as good as I would have liked either but I hope you get a little bit of inspiration from it..

Just a small chat today...

I finished off a few more cards again today and still using my cricut as I have not put it away yet..

There are even a couple of Christmas cards too..! Oh and my first easle card is there it's not very good but will try again..

I have also booked a table at a craft fayre so may get so sell some....!

I have a busy day at work tomorrow and away for the weekend so I may not be back until sunday/monday..

I'm on a roll with my cards just now and have fallen in love with my cricut all over again after thinking about selling it to buy the Big Shot Pro I have used it loads over the Easter weekend..

The 3 cards today are ones that have had paper and some embellishments on and have just been waiting for an image and finishing off.

I love the green one most. The paper is great and think it is basic gray..Lemonade but not sure..Lol.. the leaves have been cut from my cricut and embossed with the spotty folder which I think has had most use out of all the ones I have..

I am in the middle of making my first easel card too.. I will post it when it is finished...

My craft room is still a mess but I have picked up all that ribbon... ;o)

Get Well...

Hi there,

I hope you are all ok and not too sick with chocolate....!

I have been good and had some strawberries and ice cream instead..

The missing card is the one in blue and green with Tilda skipping. I love this image and nabbed a few from my friend but will buy her at some point..

In my work I always have Get Well cards ready so made a man one and a lady one just to be on the safe side... They are made with a Shy Bear stamp I bought last year...

As I had no greeting big enough out came the Cricut again and cut some swirls whilst it was out for the lady card... I have had a busy day. ;o)

The last card is a colour combo that I love and created the card before Christmas.. it may even have been 12 months ago, I have added Popcorn Bear and a nice big orange flower.

The gold fancy bit in the middle only had a small hole but wanted to use it so out came my

crop o dile... where there is a will there is always a way......!

but the outcome is a very very very messy craft room.. Lol..

My cricut it out on the small fold up table in the middle of the room my crop o dile has fallen over and for the man card I could not find the ribbon I wanted so turned the box upside down to find it.. I think I will have to close the door later as it is time to start tea... It will have to wait to be tidied until after work tomorrow afternoon. Unless I can get the sound back on my tv in there and watch tv whilst I try and find my carpet...

Why.. Oh.. Why...

How come I made 2 cards and only took a photo of one of them..Lol..

Never mind it will wait for another day. This photo is of a card that had paper only on it a thought that this image was perfect for it, along with the swirls that I cut out on my cricut yesterday to go onto another project but did not look right for it but was right for this card..Why this happens I do not know but we never waste anything do we...!!

My project for now is finished and just waiting for my magnolia 3 magazine to come through the door so that I can send it to them and see if they can use it. It depends on the theme of the next magazine though.. They may still use it just for an inspiration page...Lol.. If they do not use it I as always enjoyed making it..

Just opening a bottle of wine to have a glass and watch a film. Have a great Easter all of you and see you again soon..

More New Rubba...!

I bought my second Lilli of the Valley stamp whilst I was at the NEC and managed to make a car today, in between decorating eggs with my 2 young Nieces ( they give me 24 hours notice and expect me to have everything they need and get upset when I don't).....I'm having no more kids....Lol...!

I also used some stamped images of Popcorn bear that I had stamped a while ago on 2 other cards. I have not added any text on these 2 cards as i'm not sure what they will be used for just yet...

I have used distress inks and inkadinks on the cards. When i get some natural daylight tomorrow I may add a touch of h2os to them too..

I may be back in a day or two with more stuff... So keep taking a peek..

Mini Magic...

I just love the mini magnolias and there was one that i did not buy and wish I had.. It was in my hand several times but it can wait until november. It was Edwin as a cook sat down. I am kicking myself though now...Lol..

I have found my Mojo too and made a few cards since saturday. I was dead chuffed last night when I managed to get the mini tilda to sit on the bed. the first one she was just not right but usable but this was my second attempt and "spot on" i don't think I could get it much better.

The fairy stamp is one I bought from a friend as she had bought 2 by mistake (on the same day too. She is getting on a bit...).

The Tilda I have sat up a tree is made with a stamp that normaly has an Owl sat on the branch...

I think there is so much you can do with the Mini stamps and all the other stamps in your stash..

I'm looking forward to going back to the NEC to buy more.... i best get saving now though..

Well I have been to the NEC at Birmingham today with my son, Vicky and baby Emily...

I met a few strange people there I can tell you... You may know one or two of them...Lol..

It was nice to meet up with a couple of friends from Paper Craft Planet Jayne and Wynneth and we met at the best place....on the Magnolia stand of course, although I did not get to have a coffee with them this time I hope to do so in November if I get back again.. It was so busy I did not think it would be that busy so it may be the sunday next time.!

We only spent about 2.5 -3 hours there as I know Vicky is going out tonight and I'm not the best person to travel..

I have already made a card with the mini magnolias that I bought and had not taken a photo of my stash for you so picked up my stash and the card and not realised I had spilt a drop of ink on my desk hence the ink on the magnolia packets.

I bought a House Mouse stamp too and then found a new craft to try with paper glue and few hearts shapes made of wood I will blog them properly another day when I get to play sometime in the week..

There is also a wooden pencil box and a money box for me to work some magic on too.. I need some gesso too but there are road works near the shops that I can buy it from locally so it can wait a while i'm in no rush. I also bought a new 12x12 scrapbook as did Vicky so that we can do some for Emilys pictures as she grows...

Scrabby Bits....

Hi There,

I have been scrapping again (no not fighting..!) Scrapbooking...!

The photos are of 2 of my granddaughter, one from my son and one from Georges son.

The pink Pj page is of myself and Our Emily and the second page is of Our Charlotte or Lottie..

I love the turquoise in the bib so wanted to use that as the main colour and the large flower is great as you can make them as big or as small as you need. There is however space on one of the pages for me to do some sort of text, I may need some words from mum or dad for this...

The photos are great as there were so many taken in a short space of time. I do think she got a little bored due to the big Yawn she did... Lol..

We need to take and print our more of Emily and it looks like I will get the chance whilst helping out when mum goes back to work soon... If and when i'm needed the camera will be by my side although a new one is needed so I best start saving.

I will be back with more pages soon as my cards are on the back burner for now.. I will do more when I can find my MOJO again...

Melt Pot and Grunge paper....

Hi,

Less than 24 hours and i'm back again...

I promise that I would put some pictures on for Marie in Canada a while ago and then I never got around to it. Sorry Marie....!

So as well as the grunge paper flowers on the boxes I have used my melt pot....and wanted to show you the flower I made first and just love it....

The first box is the blue one and I wanted to keep it plain. There is a bit of a flaw in it but i'm not saying what but it is the melt pot flower that I love. The basic shape is one from a mega bag of shapes I bought from Craft Work Cards based here in Leeds and the middle is an old button that I bought from the market on the East coast of the UK and thought it was a perfect match. the side view is just to show that I try and thread ribbon around just to keep the box together a little as the sides kept coming unstuck using DS tape, on the cream box I managed to use eyelets..

The cream box was the one I made after watching Tim Holtz. It is not fantastic but I like it. The flower was my first one made with his grunge paper. The big bold beads that I bought from the same market on the east coast are wonderful and knew I would find a use for them as I just bought them because they were so nice... What are we like....Lol..

I have also finished my wedding card but will put it here in the next few days..

Get your melt pot out and use it it is so much fun, but I now want more colours ;o)

I would also love some of the TH sizzix flower dies.... My list gets longer every hour...

Coices, choices... !

Hi,

I was very excited yesterday as I had 2 cards in my door which meant 2 parcels to collect although one is too far away and will be redelivered on Thursday now.

I have been to collect one today and was even more excited as it contained my new magnolias and some more Tim Holtz grungepaper and more of his goodies which means the parcel on Thursday will contain a set of his inks that I got on ebay... Bargain...!

I have had a chance to play with my stamps and have made a card that is on the magnolia group on PCP (i'm not sure about it but it is made now and the wedding card that I have started here but not sure which flowers to use...

I don't think I want an over loaded card just a minimalistic one. I may lok at it again after tea or tomorrow. Which flowers would you use???

I am looking forward to doing more on the project I started to email to magnolia hoping it will get into one of their mags... You will just have to wait and see but it is Big.... My son saw it today and could not believe what he had seen and thought it was beautiful but I think he his bias.... Lol

Shrink Plastic

Hi,

I'm watching the tv and they are using shrink plastic which I love to use....

I never use my heat gun though as I tend to use it on a day when I have the oven on ...Lol...!

The cards I have made this week are are mostly made without any stamping other than 1 of them..

I just wanted a change... I have also used my melt pot at long last but I will show pictures of that some time in the week...

my granddaughter is coming along now too and is filling out that much I may not be able to pick her up that much soooon ;o( so i'm making the most of it when ever she is here. I took her to meet her great great aunt this week...

Well i'm missing all the shrink plastic tips so I will leave you to whatever wonderful creations you are making and see you sooooon.

Just for a change..!

I have left my cards for a couple of days and have had a dabble at scrapbooking again...

I have quite a few albums on the go but am never happy with the results, but I keep trying..

These are my two darling grandchildren from Wales.. We will meet up again at some time this year for some more fun and a chance to get more pictures...

The black and white photo page is the one I like best, it does not look as good on the photo... the one thing I wish I had not put on is the white rose in the middle of the flower, I think just a plain pink brad would have been better....

The other two pages I like and have used up some embellishment sent in RAKs..... the more I do the better I hope to get...The white space is ready for some text.

Tomorrow I hope to have a go with my melt pot... It has been waiting for some use for ages (i bought it a few years ago as it had 30% off) I managed get the utee a few months ago..

My desk is getting to the point where I will be able to use it safely...Lol.. I have some flowers that i'm dying to use in it and after seeing the demo on qvc on Tuesday i'm itching to get going with it. I now wish I had bought the small "Cookie Cutters" in the sale in January when I had them in my hands.....

Let me know what you think of my scrapbook pages.

yesterday my hubby told me he had found the pile of odd socks I have in a drawer (the washing machine always eats one..) and said he may as well wear them.... OMG what am I to do with him...Lol..

I will have to add that to my album too.. ;o)

Visitors have just arrived so I best keep it short and sweet.....

I have been finishing off more cards and have even put the verses in them and put some away in boxes...Lol.. I will add some ribbon to the boxes soon and a flower or two ready to give as presents...

We had snow again yesterday and it is forecast again for wed, Thur and Friday too so looks like I may have chance to finish some more off...

Sweets for my sweet...

My friend was 40 a few weeks ago. I gave her a lovely box of hand made cards a nice pen and some refills, I also added a Note book to the inside top of the box. She loved them, but she loved the sweets the best. I had thought about adding more embellishment however she is not into crafting like we are and would have moaned about too much stuff on it so I kept it minimalistic (big word for me on a friday..Lol).

I showed my other friend it as the box was from the glasses she had bought for me at christmas along with a big bottle of white and some flowers (they know how to keep the boss sweet).....!

She loved it and she will now try and do something along these lines herself (I know she won't as she does not have a creative bone in her body, she will have the idea and ask me to do it).

She has never seen anyone get so excited over a clear plastic box...

The amount of sweets that box held was unbelievable. I can see a trip to the dentist looming, although my friend has just become a step mum of 4 children...

Hope you get some inspiration from it....

Where am I going...

Do you ever start a card and not know which way it will go and how it will look when you have finished it...Lol..

Most of my cards are like that as I dress the cards with paper first and with the ribbon etc then go back later and do the images and colouring..

The beige coloured card today with the brown spotty organza ribbon is one card that I just had to keep going with as I did not have any sort of plan at all.

Tilda was just an image on her own on a biggish piece of card.. I added the shelf the best i could then realised I could not put anything on it. The tea towel was added but nearly touches the floor so I just added part of the jar for the hell of it. i don't think it is that bad for a miss match card though...lol..I had fun... I've just noticed I need to ground her as she is on thin air..!

Well I best leave you some photos of the cards finished today.. i have about 50 more to finish then I may just do one at a time for a while..

I'm here again as I said I would try to do...

I am also doing a surprise Candy too.. This will be drawn on Feb 14th.. It will not have a Valentine theme it is just that I will remember on that date to sort it...Lol..

I will post anywhere so just make yourself a follower so that I can find you and tell everyone about it is all I ask... and make me laugh with a comment..

My stamping desk is still not clear yet but it is getting better. I need to clear it soon as I have loads of new stamps to use or they will be "Old Stamps" before I know it and out of date....

The days are getting longer and the chalet is open next week so hubby will not always be under my feet... Poor thing...!

After loosing contact with my dad (lost his phone number etc) for the last 5-8 years I'm going to York on saturday to meet him with my son and my granddaughter. I hope it keeps fine and there is no rain...

I best leave you with some pictures of what I have been up to... I'm still on with the Magnolia Project but not showing any pictures of that... I only hope I get it finished by the dead line in february.... If anyone out there can sell me some more hours I would be greatfull..

What a fab deal.. 4 MS punches for £29.00.. I only managed to get one set not the one I wanted but fab all the same.. There is 1 deep border punch, 1 corner punch the border punch to with it punch and a flower punch with 3 stamps to go with it....

When this deal sold out far too early in the day they had to give another good deal so I ordered that too which was 100 sheets of 12x12 bazzil card stock and half of it or a lot of it was Bling card too.. I'm a very happy bunny ;o)

It's on again now on QVC but thought I would do my blog to keep me from ordering more..Lol.

I have also managed to finish some cards that I started a while ago..

I do love the Tilda sitting with her present this has to be one of the best stamps I bought last year.

Ooooh the MS iridescent heart and star glitters is beautiful... I best keep typing...Lol....

I best start saving for the next time they come over to the UK..!

Here I have a few cards I finished off in the evening whilst watching the tv.

The papers used with the new magnolia stamp is from a my minds eye stack I bought a few weeks ago. The image of the lady has since had her face coloured.

The card with the "Shy bear" eating cake I love and used some glaze on the jam.... Oh I must go shopping...! I want cake...Lol..

Just a quickie before I go to work and them straight to the east coast for the weekend.

I love this card (although i'm not a gun lover) and there is a chap that would love it.. I will knock on the door next week and ask his wife when his birthday is as they live next door to one of my clients and I see him going out and he always wear khaki clothes. They sometimes look in on my client when i'm ill or when we had the 3 weeks of snow and get him anything he needs. His Tv guide is the main thing as he watches tv all day...

I just Love Edwin fishing as you know... these 2 cards are 8x8 in size (I still have loads of these left). the flowers are from craftwork cards and I have had them forever and never used any. I want to get my stamping desk clear so I can get my melting pot out and use them in it.. I love to use buttons too...!

The Mo Manning stamp will be worn out soon and is at my side on my desk at hand always as is Edwin Fishing...Lol.. I use the old couple on my cards lots due to working with a lot of elderly people and makes a good anniversary card as well as birthday cards...

I will be back next week with more creations.. I want to use my melting pot (I bought it a couple of years ago when it was on offer but have only just bought the stuff for it).

All Change..

Due to bad weather where my dad is the train drop off has changed so I will have to wait a couple of weeks and go into Brid when I go over to chalet.. I can go to his house now too as I have an address not just a phone number....

We have sun shine so we are still going to York and will go to the Paper Mill Shop and stock up with card...

I have tried to keep my blog candy at the top and will find out if it has worked when I add this. Some how I don't know if it has, I may have miss understood the directions from Nicky.. I keep telling you all how daft I am...Lol..

Moved Out..

I had made my mind up about moving my bed out of my craft room at long last..Lol..

So on friday night the move started and I slept in my old single craft room and made way to put my desks, shelves and stash in place. It is not tidy yet by a long way but I hope by next weekend it will be done.. How long have I been sorting this out...!

Well I have a desk that is clear so i'm slowly finishing some cards off and boxing them up and in the process it is clearing the other desk that I will use just to do my stamping on.

The small cards are just smaller than a 4x4 and fit in lovely metallic box cubes that you can buy from any card shop or gift shop for about 69p. I am filling these to give to family and friend one for their birthday that will be full of Christmas cards and one for Christmas that will be full of general cards. I started this at Christmas and gave them a nice pen and refills too as you can see in the silver boxed present.....

I'm still using scraps up too....

A Freash New start...

I'm trying to keep up with things on my blog again after a short spell with far too much to do...

So yes it has been a few day but I hope to be here at least once / twice a week if not more..

The snow has now gone although they say we could have a little more this week and the forecast for February is not good either. It's nearly time to re open the chalet too and have promised myself not to take too much craft stuff with me as it takes longer to load and unload the car some weekends. Maybe if I can get there for a week..Lol.

I have been out and signed up another 10 hours a week of work for me and the girls.. so things are going to get even busier for us this year..

My craft stash is getting bigger too and have just received a My Minds Eye pad of about 180 sheets of 12x12 papers, I am eager to open it up and start to use it... I think I am going to have to be ruthless and get rid of some of my scraps as i'm still trying to use them up and getting nowhere fast ;o(

My friends son likes to craft so he may get a box full soon....

Well I best stop waffling and show a few card... Come back soon and leave some love to show you were here..

Fed Up..!

Well I'm still house bound as we have black ice all around us again and just now it has started to snow again...!

I've been finishing a few cards and am making yet another winter warming stew... I dream of salad with nice ripe vine tomatoes....and some fruit and Ice-cream...Lol...

I hope you can see that i'm using all the goodies up from the wonderful RAKs you have all been sending... It's nice to use something different..

I will be back tomorrow as looks bad here for the rest of the week.. My girls went out to do a couple of jobs and ended up coming home (I was so glad as I did not want them to go in the first place, they are only young and getting to realise I'm right in what i'm saying to them) as they were skidding. One of the other team fell on her bum so was not pleased, she did not hurt herself only her pride...!

Wii Fit! Fit to drop.....!

Well I have done it.. I bought a Wii and "Your Shape" was with it along with Resort sport....

Resport sport i'm loving... I have just tried YS... I'm now fit to drop..I've never had so much fun.. It looks like my card making will not come to an end but I will slow down.. I was making far too many and not selling unless I could find a Fayre to sell at.

I managed to work out at 13% out of 14% worked off 75 cals and will be back for more on wednesday. If you had seen me yesterday suffering from how much I did on saturday you would know why I'm having a day off. If i do every other day for a month and work my way up I will be happy. Want to know how i'm doing on a daily basis and have a laugh look on facebook...!

I best put a card picture on here too.. The Magnolia image I love and thanks to a friend I have this mini version too. The Mo Manning image is another I love and had to have the stamp.. The card however needs something else to finish it off, maybe a nice wide ribbon..

Well the snow is still falling (blowing a blizzard just now) and my hubby is on his way home...!

His tea is not burn for a change...Lol..

Unless this snow goes away I will be home crafting but best not spend until i'm back earning some money.. I'm missing all the sales too..;o( not just for craft.. I wanted new pllows for the chalet etc..

I've had one of my staffs young lads round today as he wanted to make a birthday card for my nephew who is 12 tomorrow and his best friend. He can't get into the town so came to see me for an hour to play with all my stash. He knew I made cards as his "Nanna" does too and he loves to make some with her. He did not realise just how much stuff I had... and enjoyed himself immensely..

I also enjoyed his company. His mum should be proud of such a young polite son she has..

Hubby has just arrived home now so I best put tea out. I hope to be back again tomorrow..

Getting Ahead....!

Well it's nearly a month since I was last here...Where has the time gone as it feels as though it was only yesterday....

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas... We did although they are getting quieter every year, as the boys have grown up and flown the nest and both have families of their own..

I have only worked 1 day in the last 3 weeks due to the weather and a bit of a chest infection.. So what should a girl do with all that time on her hands.... Craft craft and more craft..

Here are a couple of card that are ready for christmas 2010 and a photo taken Christmas 2009 of my sons little helper... I can't wait until she is my little craft buddy..Lol...

I hope some of you will recognise papers, images and embellishment you have sent in RAKs. I will carry on with christmas cards until I have used all the old dps I have from over the last few years that I have stashed. This weekend i hope to show a little box that I have finished of cards that I will be giving out as Birthday and Christmas presents. I will also be making lots of Christmas tags too for friends and family..

Birthday Book

I'm back... sorry it's been a long time but we have changed servers and this one is rubbish and it is a 2 year contract... I bet I complain...!

Well its 2 weeks till christmas and the cards are all done and posted.I have about a dozen ready for next year and am still making them. If I carry on until the end of this year I may have at least half of what I will need next year...! Hows that for been organised..

I'm making Birthday Books as christmas presents too so that I just need to nip out and buy some nice pens to go with them alng with a few home made cards too..Lol..!

I have been using up my scraps of dp on the front/back covers..

There are plain pages after the picture and calendar month so that in november they can mark off number 30 and on the blank page add 30 = Lynn etc..

There is a photo of my 2 year old granddaughter too that came up from south wales to see the new baby... This is the same granddaughter on my PCP photo too!

Here are a few cards that I have been messing about with...!

The christmas /birthday card with the H&S image on is a card I get asked for by one of my clients every year. It is for his niece in Australia who's birthday is on christmas day so he asks for me to do a nice card...

I have already done a bit of baby sitting ;o)....

My son and Vicky asked if they could leave Emily with me whilst they went home for some bits n bobs they needed... They can't wait for the boiler to be fixed tomorrow so they can show Emily her nursery that they worked so hard to get done.. It's the first time my son had wall pappered and they picked a Nursery Rhyme Mural type thing that was made up of so many squares... I was glad it was him and not me doing it. He has done quite a good job too.......

Hope you like the cards... I hope to be back in the next couple of days with more..although I have bought 2 jars to decorate up for christmas ;o(

Wow....Did I tell you my son and girlfriend was due to have a baby??? Lol...

Well here she is less than 24 hours old..Emily..

Have you seen all that hair...

Isn't she beautiful...Lol.. I'm not sure who she looks like just now as at first she looked like vicky (her mum) then I have seen my son in her and his dads side of the family..

They have gone to stay with Vickys mum for a few days as their boiler broke yesterday.

Well that it for today i'm now going to have a glass of wine with my hubby.....1

A stamp is for life and not just for Christmas...

Hi, sorry it's been a few days again but we are getting even busier just now with work..

I love this image she is so sweet and can be used all year round and not just for christmas..

I also masked her to have all the dots behind her.. I was not going to add that many but got a little carried away..as we do.

OOOOh I have been bad again... I told you my friend had gone back to work in the craft shop well, I dropped in today to drop off the new cricut cartridge she wanted (when I told her about them we bought one each as they are limited edition). What was the owner of the shop doing but pricing the box full of Marther Stewart punches up so I have come home with 3 new ones ;o) :o(..

all I wanted was some distress ink whilst I was there..

Hubby been to bed for an hour and just got up so best find out what we are having for tea.. It was his turn and he was going to make a shepards pie... Mmmmm

Baby should arrive tomorrow as Vicky has to go into the maternity ward so I will be back and it will all be about the BABY... We a bit upset as the midwife let slip what she is having and they did not want to know....but never mind as long as they are both fine at the end of the day... I'm having a little bet with my hubby as to whether my son will pass out or not ;o)..

Complete Madness..!

Yeah, I love Madness... Baggy Trousers is the best I think and brings back so many memories.. I have known my son be out on a weekend and has phoned me from the pub just because it is on the Jukebox.... Lol, hows that for madness..

however i'm talking about my day out to do a class with Bev... Well she is just so funny.

To start off with I had the route planned in my head and my mate brought her Tomtom with her and before we knew it it was taking us back home..! So we turned back around and found our way there it's as easy as pie..! could do it blindfolded now... haha.

Wen we arrived we went straight into the shop, as you do. Five minutes later we had to leave our baskets with Jill and was told to "get to the class".

There we met a new friend called Annette or Anita (sorry, my brain is not working still), although it turned out that she was stalking Bev and my mate Cath was stalking this other lady "Net"....

You know who you are..... You can kick my butt the next time we meet... ;o)

The card we made was lovely as you can see. Cath yours is beautiful too....!

I have not taken a great photo of it as I have missed the best of the light due to my son calling last night and introducing me to "Scrabble" on facebook. I don't like facebook but love scrabble....

So here is my card and I promise to take photos first and then play scrabble...!

A bit Naked...!

Well I have put ink to my new stamps and enjoyed playing with all of them....

This card has me stumped as there is a bit of a naked/bare corner top right.

I have played with different thing but still not sure..... I will end up cutting some nice gold green and burgundy snowflakes out with my new Cricut cartridge if it arrives next week and adding some "Bling".. Have you seen the new snowflake and Snowmen cartridges???

They are smaller (as in not as much stuff on them) and cheaper than the normal size cartridges. The snowflake one looks beautiful and can't wait to get my hands on it, I ordered that one and my friend ordered the snowman one after a quick call to her to tell her about them as she is a hopeless case with the internet so I keep her up to date with what is coming out... even though she has now returned to work at the craft shop. I must say if I want to know anything she is the one I turn to. I wish I could get her to do a blog... Mmmmm.

Still no baby yet ;o(

I will be back monday as I'm away at a class tomorrow..

Animal Magic...!

What fun I have had today..... I gave a couple of jobs to my girls and took the day off.. I'm not sleeping very well so tired... Lol.. yeah that is my excuse and I'm sticking to it...

I got new stamps from the postman too. i will get to put ink to them tomorrow. I do agree with the angel policies and stick to them, however the small amount of images passed around means we also get to "Try before you buy". I am so glad we do it sometimes as one of the cards I have made today came in an RAK 9 yes there is only 1 image but I have not bought it as I did not think I could colour it very well so did not think I would get much use from it. However I love the card I have made and even enjoyed colouring it. I think it looks great even though it was after the natural day light had gone. I now Want this Magnolia stamp.. I may even get the Monkey too..

The paper was also from an RAK but the ribbon is my own from my stash...

The dragon is also from an RAK but I can't remember where who makes it as when i saw it I did not think I would use it for the same reason. I'm not 100% sure of the colouring but as 2 of my grandchildren live in Wales this stamp is also now on my wish list.

The dragon card I did now want to overload with embellishments as you would not be able to see the lovely paper on it.

well I have 5 mins left to save the tea from burning so I best go...

Who is she?

What a surprise we had on sunday when my hubbies eldest son managed to come over for a quick visit to introduce our new grandaughter. No not the one i keep telling you about as That grandchild still has not made it's way into the world yet ;o(

This special little girl is "Lottie" Charlotte Matilda.. When Richard said they were having a baby everyone was so shocked as they both were not going to have children as they were far too busy!!!

She is 3 months old and due to this swine flu and other illness this is the first time we have seen her.. Cute a button don't you think???

The card was made a few days ago and is an image sent to me in an RAK or could have been in a print chain. I am not 100% of the name of the company where the stamp is from but think it begins with a P... could be papillon or something along those lines..

The bling around the brad in the middle of the flower is from the Hobby House and arrived last week. I have coloured with distress inks and am loving using them just now. I'm going to the hobby house on sunday to do a distress ink class with Bev Rochester... my aim is to be as good as her one day although it will take me years..!

Well it's time to go as i'm going to meet a new client in the next hour. I hope to be back tomorrow with a little something to show you..

My Craft room should be finished (still no skirting, it will get done when it gets decorated again!)

this weekend. it is not what I wanted but things are getting a bit tight just now and would rather spend my money on stash ;o) but i'm happy with it.

I hope to post a picture next week.

We still have no baby yet but we know for sure it will arrive in the next 2 weeks... I know I keep telling you this but i'm just so excited as this grandchild will be on my doorstep as my youngest son only lives around the corner.....

My hubby has already said he will be the 4 day a week baby sitter due to his shifts but he will only do it as long as the baby is a Leeds United supporter...Lol,, Typical man! My son supports Manchester United so he says they can share....Leeds Shorts and a Man united top..!

I say as long as it wears a Leeds Rhinos kit too, my son is an avid castleford Tigers fan, my hubby is a Bradford Bulls Fan... Oh boy is it fun in our house!!!!!

For all you out there that are wondering what I'm talking about it's our local Rugby League teams... Sorry!

I love rugby but not a football fan however I do follow Liverpool just to be awkward...!

Don't forget to check bevs candy, and I hope to return tomorrow with some card or other to show....

Distress Ink Colouring.

I'm still practising my distress ink colouring... I see some improvement then I see mistakes that I need to master. Give it time and you may see them too..Lol!

I have just been colouring today using up cards that are already dressed with papers and just needing an image to go with them.. I tend to do this every now and then as when I look the first time I dont have an image that goes but then next time around like today I can get several done without trying, funny how it goes like that from time to time...! after a week or so of doing his again and my box is getting low I sit and dress more cards... Do you think it's strange the way I do that or is that the way you do things too??? I just have days when I need to see my desk so use up scraps from it and do not allow myself to cut into any more dp.

I have also managed to add an image to the little blue note book. It is made from a new sizzix thick cut i bought a little while ago. I love these type of sizzix that can make up little books as they also use up scraps of this and that....

the best one of today is using the H&S guitar boy but the picture came out blurry so he will keep until tomorrow when the best of the day light arrives.....! The little bear came this morning in an RAK I'm not too sure who sent it as I can't make out the name. He is very cute though and he came embossed too.! I have also added the valentine card from yesterday as I took it in the better light.. Plus I love this card.....!

I'm going to a craft fayre tomorrow to have a look around as there were no tables left when I rang the lady organising it, but she has taken my name and number for next time.

Well I hope the girls had a good day at the NEC in Birmingham and have bought some wonderful goodies to show us all over on PCP.

i'm going to do a bit more of my cleaning now the day light has gone and to start tea as hubby will be home from work soon.. I have no idea what to make today... !

Getting ahead..!

I hate this time of year as photos come out rubbish come tea time as the days get darker earlier...!

Here I have got ahead just a little with a Valentine card. it did not however start out as one it just turned out this way and am happy with it too! It is also made with a few scrap pieces of paper..

as are the other 2 cards... So i'm a happy crafter today. Other than the rubbish photos as they do not show the colours very well.

My day off on Tuesday has ended with me having the rest of the week off too...! I just wish it had been during the summer months.!

Some of my crafting friends from Paper Craft Planet are meeting up at the NEC tomorrow, oh how I wish I could be there... Have a fun day tomorrow girls and roll on next year when we hope more of us "On Line" crafters will try and meet up too..

The felt heart border came to me via an RAK, the flowers are made from scraps and I have a tub of them...

There were no comments left on my bottle tags yesterday. ;o(

I hope I have some love left today.....

Hic Hic Hic..!

Well I don't believe it has been over a week since I was here last...

My lap top is playing up so have been given my hubbies until the January Sales start... I can keep saving to get a better one, but at least I know what my christmas present is this year..!

We still have no Grand child yet although it is not due until monday, I have said bonfire night all way through so watch this space..Lol..!

My sisters birthday is on the 24th so if she goes over you never know... Mine is not long after but a bit too far away..

I have been in my jim jams all day today as I have given myself the day off. The Christmas Fayre season is creeping up so want to be ready as I was not last year and ended up not doing so well.

The photos show my "Bottle Tags" that I have been making today...

Tomorrow I have a short day so want to make some "Book Markers". Making these uses up my scraps of paper and ribbon...

The first orange bottle tag was made by accident but was happy with the result so led me to make more. The girly Pinkish one is made with an off cut of Laura Asley wall paper that I spotted in the shop a couple of weeks ago..lol... waste not want not...! What the photodoes not show very well is that around the pink button top left I have sewn small seed beads on.. and the stamp says "Cheer up"... I was going to make it into a tag that Says it's a Girl but I hope to make 1 of pink and 1 of blue and hope to use one of them on a bottle of champagne in the next few weeks..! I'm getting very excited now and am starting to wish my days away until I get the call tosay she has gone into labour...... Ps took more pictures so you can see...!!!

I am hoping to get my melt pot outb later to make some bits and bobs for my own Christmas tags... I love making them as they add something a bit special to a present. i'm not sure what I will make but no doubt you will know soon enough ;o)

Goodies

I have been asked to show what I bought over the weekend at the show other than the post that I added yesterday here is what I bought...

The stamp storage was £2.85 so I bought 10 and there is still not enough for all my stamps, I think I have one more box to empty. I need to fine my laminator so that I can put them in so that I can see on the outside what is in each carton. I bought lots of double sided tape as I use loads of it. I had noticed I had run out of the Pink Sherbert Ariondac paint dauber the day before so replaced it.

Of course I bought a Magnolia stamp, although the 3 I wanted were not there.

I just love the Oldies stamps so bought 2 and I may have the other later next month Thanks to Jayne from Paper craft Planet...who may get it for me from the NEC.

I bought some inks too but don't seem to be able to find them... They could be in the darkest corner of my car boot..Lol.

I also bought a Stamps by Judith stubbie stamp of a tea cup.. Brads from The Hobby house where the storage cartons came from and 3 lots of Kling on or Eze mount as it was the cheapest I have seen it for a while.

We got lost on the way home too so instead of half an hour it took us just over an hour to get home but hey we got there in the end..... I forgot I also had to buy a new water brush as mine has one a bit "Frizzy" with the amount of times I used it......

Have any of you seen these?

I was on my last few pounds at the show and thought I'm looking for something new...(I just did not want to take the money home as it would be against all my rules!!).

Then I came across these little stamp kits, although they come in bigger sizes. I can't wait to get using these and will order more too..

There is a little wooden stamp holder and under it there are a few ridges, these hold the rubber in place. The small set I have includes 10 various quotes and 10 different borders too. The other set has an alphabet with 3 different surrounds for any single letter to fit in the middle.

i hope the photos show you better than I have explained. the wooden stamp holder and stamps I chose are the smallest and they get a lot bigger to fit jam jar tops etc...

I saw a wedding theme, a baby, a kitchen and a few others..

Jayne keep your eyes peeled they are from the people who sell the Wizzard and nessties... I'm not sure of the name and will ask my friend who they were as she knows them all..

Look what I found...!

OOOOh look What I found in a bag of mount board off cuts..

What are they you may ask, but my brain went on overdrive for a while..

They are the middle of the mount that are used for framing pictures and I was lucky to find 2 in a few bags that I got from a shop and all you have to give is a small donation (I can get them free in a different shop but have not been here for ages but still bought raffle tickets from them) I gave her £5 and she said it was far too much so she told me to take all 3 bags....How lucky am I..! Little things please tiny minds as they say... Lol how true is that...

Any how I have started this picture for my bedroom wall and am going to put the words

"My family" at the top. i'm not sure how to finish around the edges... I thought of punching some holes and do some "Over" stitching and adding some beads or putting some flowers in places....I need to find my Magnolia cat to put on top of the pile of books too..

I was looking on the Sugar Nellie site as I do most days and I found these fantastic flowers via Marlene's blog that I always have a peek at.

This is my first attempt but will keep making these to add to my boxes and things...

I have also had to make a sympathy card for a neighbour that died last week. She is one of the reasons that my business is still going, as I told her one day that I was skint (I buy too much craft stuff) and was thinking of getting another Auditing job as things were going slow.. June like myself was a carer although she did about 20 years more than me and she told me I must keep going and to just carry on. sadly she died last monday of bowel cancer and I could not make it to the funeral yesterday as we (my other 4 girls and myself) are just snowed under with work this week... I just know she would understand and would loved to have helped out if she could have.

My son went as he went to school with her son and daughter and he said the church was packed.

You will be missed June.. XXX

What an awful photo... The best of the daylight has gone already ;o(

I need to get started a lot earlier now that the season is changing... I think we change our clocks next week or just after.... I hate this time of year! I do however love the change of colour on the trees though...

I have the news on just now and am so so sad at the funeral of Stephen Gately.. When other people are upset I am also almost in tears... RIP peace lad...!

The card I have made I love as the image is great for a young child.. The colours have an autumn feel too.

I can see it is time for me to make some cards using my scraps too so as I watch x factor tonight anything could happen with the choice of papers.

I could do with some note lets to send with my RAKs...Lol so you could receive anything ladies..

Tea is nearly ready so i must go give it a stir (a casserole) before it burns.. again...

What's in this box ?

Hi there,

You all know I like to play in bed (keep it clean, remember... I'm passed all that..!) whilst watching TV... Well it took me 10 minutes to make this box... I don't measure anything although use my score board as a guide.. (I do really do need a score pal) to get a more snug fit.. for the little Post it pad inside it. I also cut the front tabs off as I was going to make it a different way.

Why does it say Thank You my friend will say when I give her it. Well I will reply I didn't have one that says "Daft as a Brush". when we were working yesterday we laughed non stop all day the oldies just loved it... We just had one of those "Silly" days. One lady was laughing so much I thought se was going to wet herself....!

My other girl and my sister are home today. I just happened to wake up at 5.15 am this morning so text her to say welcome to the UK along with your passport you need a hat, scarf, woolly hat and your thermals....She laughed in her txt back and asked what I was doing up at that time? I told her I had a nightmare that strange people were landing in the UK... I'm in so much trouble.Lol.. Who cares, you got to have a laugh... Right?

I'm early doing this and need to get ready for work.

I have used the paper from the Brenda Pinnick stack again..The green card doesn't look very on the photo, although I like it. However the purple card needs the ribbon taking off and balencing out with something different. I may have to get the cricut out and do some words down the card..??

I will also add a card or two from yesterday..

I'm feeling as good as i'm going to get after this cold/flu and feel lucky that I have not had it for as long as my Old man had it for..

I normally start tea at this time as hubby will finish work at 6pm but, if I order a chinese I have time to do another card. ;o)

I was up at 5 am with hubby this morning and out shopping at the all night ASDA by 5.30am so i'm too tired to cook...Lol

Just Messing......

I'm back... Nearly 100% but not quite... As it is the weekend I may get the proper rest needed to get to 100% I have had a funny 2 weeks of cold/flu as I have had to drive my girls to work and wait outside so I don't pass my germs on so have had to sit in the car and wait.... so not the best way to get better but my other girl is back on tuesday from Turkey where she has been with my sister and everything should get back to normal.... Mmmmm

As Shaz has been away in the sun she may end up full of cold in the next couple of weeks too....

Never mind it will soon be Christmas...!

I have had a good play today colouring cards in and getting ready for a sale that I may do mid November (unless i'm baby sitting) ;o)

Shaz sister in law had her baby yesterday a little boy, who is early and was due same day as my sons baby. he is doing fine and is in intensive care next to another friend of our baby that also arrived early. He weighed in at 5lb something and is 2lb heavier than the other little one. it's all happening here and they say things happen in threes so i'm on edge just now..

Right back to the cards...Lol... The New Home card I love and it is made with amn image sent in an RAK.. The paper is from the My Mind Eye stack ( I think) as is the blue card from the other day that I could not remember.... The flowers are by Primas ans the brads and everything else is from my never ending stash...

The Orange card is made with paper from an RAK as arethe tiny flowers at the bottom of the card, the bigger flowers are from my stash..

The "Men" cards are made with paper from Craftwork Cards here in Leeds.. The silver flowers are made from empty "Tonic" cans (as in Gin and Tonic) and were sent in an RAK from my Senior Citizen friend Marie over in Canada..( She did not send me any Gin though.. she drank that all herself... how mean.. hic!). You can see with the close up picture that the colour of the underneath of the flower is reflected in the paper...!!

Worst Photo Ever

Just a quick posting today, just to let you know i'm still here..

The card today is using a digi image by Mo Manning. I had to remove my last post with a picture of one of her images as there was no water mark on it. Mo has already had problems with her wonderful images being sold on by people who did not have permission to do so. it was a mistake I had made and asked if it needed to be removed and I did so straight away.. The photo today is not fantastic but I had to make a card to show you one of her beautiful images. If you have not already seen her work you have to...... Mo has stamps coming out soon too. I'm saving already to buy some as soon as they are out... She has a group on PCP and it has already gone over the 400 members mark.......

Card Day...

I made a few cards yesterday on World Card Day although too many to show you all at once so I may keep some for a rainy day....

The sailor boy is a stamp that I bought from Bunny Zoe Crafts a few weeks ago. I had dressed the card and had not found the right image to go with it until now.... I don't even remember the paper I have used. It's not very often I use peel offs any more but as I have that many of them I thought I best use them.... I wanted to keep the card simple and not go over the top as I usually do..Lol...! I'm adding a close up of the flowers to show that I have screwwed them up and then opened them out and added a bit of bling...

I hope you like him as much as I do... I'm not sure which other card to show you so can't say much about it... I will choose when I get to add my photo..

Dinner is nearly ready so I'm going to sort it before it burns for a change..!

After a bit of sleep some pain killers I'm feeling a little better, although it's a good job I'm typing and not talking as my sore throat would not last long ( what do you mean you're glad i'm not talking... cheeky!). I thought I would finish a card to show you...

the papers are Lemonade by Basic Grey and am just about at the end of them. I may have enough to make some small cards.. The image was sent in an RAK and is one of a few I'm reluctant to use as when they have gone they are gone..Lol.. what are we like with these H&S images we treat them as if they were worth millions.... ;o) They probably are...to anyone not living in Sweden.. I have used my Sekura glitter pens on them as you can see, although the photo looks more glittery than it really is..

The nice big flowers and the charm are from The Hobby House.. The ribbon is from my mega stash from Craft Zone the button i'm not 100% sure where they were from..

Well I'm making some soup for my tea as everything I have eaten this week I have not tasted much so just want soup although it will be from a tin I do love to make my own vegetable soup all through the winter months.. It's short and sweet today as i'm taking an elderly lady to the doctors in the next 20 minutes.

The papers are again by Brenda Pinnick. The buttons are from my lovely new friend on the market on the east coast of the UK. The ribbon is from Craft Zone in Pontefract where I bought about £40 in one day...Lol hope him indoors never reads this...!

Hi there I just had to have a go at these wonderful flowers that I saw on Tabby Craft Designs blog, She's down there amongst the blogs I follow.. Yeah down there in my side bar..! There is also a link to see some others too.. I will have to go through my tub and re do all the flowers in there now. Thanks Tabby for sharing this with us..

I adore this stamp and could use it all the time but thought you would all get bored and never come and say Hello again..Lol.. So I have to use others too....

The papers again are MME I think... from a stack I bought last year but just love it.. I only ever buy Basic Grey or MME at the best of times so it must be.... You know my memory is rubbish.. Now what was I going to say..... Oh yes I have posted loads of RAKs , birthday cards and friendship pages today the poor postman will get a shock when he collects because it was a tiny village PO that I used and they are not used to so much stuff in one day...

The ribbon is the stuff with wire along each edge and I have had it for a year and only just getting around to using it.. I keep saying I am not going to buy anything else for a while but I'm just too weak and keep giving in..Lol how many times have you said and done the same thing???

Anniversary

Well i'm here a little earlier than normal (I have a spare half hour before working for a couple of hours)... So where would I be.. Lol.. talking to my friends...

I've stayed on the marriage theme and made an anniversary card with an image sent to me in an RAK.... Don't you just love them. I'm still looking for someone with a tent in sweden that lets strange women rent it for a weekend ( although a weekend in sweden would not be long enough).

The cards I have made this weekend have all had my own flowers added as I have spent a fortune in the past on shop bought and have also spent ages making a big tub of flowers made with my bits of scrap paper.... i'm useless as remembering whos papers they are.. My minds eye are the ones that I buy in 12x12 stacks so thats who I think they are by and I do love their stacks..... I need more...!

I may be back later today with something else or i may leave it until my normal tea time spot tomorrow....... Leave me some love pleeeeease..!

Wedding day Blues..!

I've left it to the last minute to make a wedding card for tomorrow, until one of my girls (Staff) asked if I could make her a card too for the wedding we are both going to tomorrow. I'm never too sure about my wedding cards as it is but have managed to make them...... The Blue one from me is made with My Minds Eye papers that came in a stack...the image is from a stamp I bought at Harrogate show a couple of years ago and the lady I got them from has some beautiful Fairy stamps Lativia stamps I think they are or something like that I will find out and let you know properly if anyone wants to know and find a link to her other stamps..

The pink cards is also from the same paper stack. The image was given to me by a friend.. I know some people do not like the idea of us swapping images but by doing this I have bought stamps that I was not sure of in the past...Would you believe that this is how I have become a Magnolia fan...!

It's like they say "Try before you buy".

Well the girls called earler for their wages and we do get given some very strange things in our day to day work...Lol.. and they turned up with 4 very big trays of Danish pastries and mince pies that had been bought from Costco and what the client did not want was passed on to us.... Now my old self would have eaten quite a few...but the girls took what they wanted and I had a nice cup of tea and half a custard danish then jumped into my car and took the rest to my old work team (hubby still works there)... they loved them.. It pays to keep them sweet as i'm running out of mountboard so need to get some and the boys will cut it to size on the guilotine...

Well it is time to start tea.. Hope to be back tomorrow. call agin and leave me some much needed love....

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well here I am again busy doing nothing... Well I'm dressing my 8x8 cards as i do with all my cards first.. The papers are by Basic grey from their Lemonade selection, and as you can see i have been sewing seed beads on them too and ribbon has gone on there too...

I just love the zesty lime green colour. I never know how the cards will end up, I just enjoy the dressing of the card first and then see where that takes me... I'm away to the doctor soon to sort my creaky neck out.. It has been hurting me for long enough now and it is getting very hard to turn my head and look at my "Blind" spot when driving as I am now having to turn my body rather than my head.... My son says he is taking me to the vets if I dont see the doctor..Lol... He is so very sweet and knows just how to phrase things....

I will eventualy show you one ofr two of these cards finished but it could be over the wekend as we will be playing catch up with work tomorrow and I'm at a wedding saturday evening... Let's just wait and see if I can get some finished....Come back and see....

Hey ladies,

Hope you are all well and still crafting like mad... I'm having a couple of days dressing cards up with dp (yeah, I do everything backwards) as I'm running out of 8x8 crads that are ready for images.

I should photo some at some point. Maybe tomorrow I will.... I dress the cards then i will put an image to the card and know just what colours to use as everything is ready, just embelishments to add after image is done.. You know what I mean.. I just play with bits of paper n doublesided tape and what ever sketch happens happens.. I get to sew beads n stuff too..

the real reason i'm blogging today is that I have wanted my friends dad to make me a unit on wheels that would hold my 12x12 boxes that I keep stamps and dp in.. Then as I have been trying to get my house in order I noticed the unit in our lobby that makes me mad as it is to hold shoes and coats then you can turn it round to hide the shoes and you get a nice 4foot high mirror to see..Well there are too many coats on it so have got rid of some the shoes always end up on the floor as people can't be bothered to put them on the unit..My hubby brings the odd magazine home from work for his friend and puts them on it until he gets time to go visit and I have now pinched it and put it in my room (still no skirting just yet but never mind).

I also bought myself a drop leaf table yesterday and can't make my mind up if to take it to chalet or keep it in my room....!

Well i'm just rabbiting on so I will leave you with the picture and carry on with some more.. Hubby has just come home early from chalet... He says he ran out of food so came home instead of doing shopping as he was coming back tomorrow anyhow..(bang goes my playing in peace)..

I'm sad.....

I stayed at home and am so so miserable now..Lol... Anyone would think I had no stash to play with.. I have been in the bath for a nice long soak have moved some of my stash sround and have made a card.I'm trying to keep busy and pretend that i'm not bothered.. I will set off for the chalet soon so that I'm out of the way. I have even looked at how far it would be from the chalet and if it would be easy enough to get to from Harrogate;o( I don't like to go out of my comfort zone and would have to go round York so am keeping well away as they have a Paper Mill shop nr York..

Any how for my card I have used Basic Greys Lemonade, these are the ones that have been with me far too long and if I don't use them now they will be out of fashion and will jst get saved to look at so have taken the plunge over the last few days and prepared some 8x8 cards with them. I showed you one yesterday.....I sat and sewed some lovely pink pearl beads on last night and came across this image this morning sent to me in an RAK. i'm not sure about the flowers and the leaves again but there is room for the word "sister" or" friend" what ever too if I wanted to or even a name if I was to use it for a nieces birthday...

Well I best get something to eat now and get a few things together to take to the chalet.. Book or craft is my next dilemma....Lol.. What to do next.. A book my sunglasses and a small bottle(Mmmm) of wine oh and those grapes that keep calling my name.. Oh by the way it is official I have now lost a stone and a half ;o) I would love some chocolate and some biscuits but I'm feeling lots better and have more energy so I will leave them alone.. Maybe an Ice cream when I walk along the beach later and think of the money I have saved today.. Hubby finishes work at 6pm so should arrive at the chalet at about 7.30pm.. Decisions Decisions....! Do I or don't I.?

Well I ordered this wonderful High Hopes stamp and some other bits and bobs and it has arrived within 48 hours so i'm well impressed.. Zoe I will be ordering again very very soon...

The cars is made with Basic Greys Lemonade dp and matching bassil card stock.. I think it just needs some more leaves adding made with the bassil card to give it some extra colour..The middle of the flowers are buttons..

I love high hope stamps so i'm glad to have found a UK seller.. i also got the new Cosmo Cricket christmas papers and the new Basic Grey christmas papers too and am looking forward to using them...

Well I'm undecided if i'm going to the great yorkshire paper craft event tomorrow. I'm suposed to be going to our chalet on the east coast for the weekend but also want to go and look for some single copic colours that i would like.. I'm overdrawn at the bank but could use some of the savings but am I that desperate for the copics..Lol.. What to do.. I have nnot sent for my ticket as i have been very busy so will have to pay £5 to get in.. I will also need petorol to get there then to get back and go to chalet.. my brain is puddled ( No change there then)... The last time I did not go my friend came back with loads of bargains, but i'm struggling for space..... Oh Heck..

What a Mixture...

Hello everyone..

I do hope you all had a great weekend.. I'm sorry i'm a little later than normal but i've been to see the accountant.. ;o( What more can be said..

The cards I have made are christmas and or Digital image cards although the christmas mitten is a stampin up stamp... I made one big card and six small ones and may give them to one of my ladies or give them to one of my oldies to sell for the church roof fund as they always have one or some fundraising to do..

the two "eskimos" as I call them kissing is by Mo Manning and the other 2 I have forgotten who they are by I love and am making a set of six to go into a box as a gift set when the box and everything is ready I will make sure I know who they are by.. I think it's because they are so new to me..

Sorry it's short and sweet but hubby has just sent me a text to say he may come home tomorrow... so I best make sure the bed and everything is clear as it is covered in craft stuff and is stripped as I washed the bedding so needs making...

It's Not a Box...!

Short and sweet today as it's nearly time for work.... I know I normaly blog at tea time but I think we are away today until monday....

I saw a Recipe file on Jacqueline's blog yesterday and it gave me an idea ( I have seen many of theses files before but nothing sprang to mind)...

I wanted something nice to keep my Sugar Nellie stamps in, so whilst watching a couple of soaps last night I came up with this... Oh and I now need a Score Pal to make my next one even better.

The orange card is just basic card stock, the DP is by Basic Grey, the mega eyelet came

with my Big Bite. behind this to fasten the file is a disc of velcro...

My first Digi Card

I have seen this image by CC Designs around for ages and thought I would give this Digi image thing a go.. although you can buy the stamps from here http://www.7kidscollegefund.com/category_s/355.htm&click=2663

I have tried with many different mediums but have found copics the best, however a friend of mine uses distress inks on her digital downloads.. It may depend on the quality of the ink you have in your printer (mine is the cheepest there is... Times are getting hard..!)...

The best thing about these images is that you can size them to what ever card you are doing, this is a 4x4 card. I'm hoping to sell lots of this size (not this image) as I want to buy a wheelchair for my business as we have just borrowed one from age concern and it is as old as adam and my poor client must have felt every bump in the road....

I have added some flower soft to the wheel barrow and some very fine glitter to her wings although I wish I had not done her wings..

Well it has been my day off today but I have, taken one of my ladies out shopping and then just as I got back I got a call to go have a look at another job so went back out. Whilst I was in the area I called in for a cuppa with my aunt that I have not seen for about 6 weeks ( I used to go weekly but am just getting very busy). So this is the only card today due to having to find a medium that would work for me..and now it is time to start our tea... I promise Not to Burn it again today.. I wish I had a pound for every time I burnt it as I would never have to work again Lol.... Is it just me or do you other crafters get carried away and burn tea or lunch???

The paper I used today was printed from a disc probably 18 months ago! the pink card is just basil card stock the ribbon from my stash...

1, I love to see my hubby every day and have a catch up about his day at work ( I used to be his Boss, he says I still am)....

2, I would love to see my family everyday although it is hard sometimes as we all have our own things to do, but do manage it every other day..

It's a Man Thing..!

I have gone mad on making man stuff today as a way of thinking of my poor hubby who went back today after about 5 weeks off work (it started with 2 weeks holiday)..

I was also thinking of my sons girlfrind who lost her granddad over the weekend.... So here's to all the wonderful men out there who nearly always get forgotten by us crafty card makers.. Oh yes and the girl card(I had to) she was just looking at me so I could not turn my back on here now could I....

All the cleaning that I was going to do today went out of the window too..Lol.. My bedroom is nearly finished and I have made head way with my craft stuff in between being creative(if that's what I call it)....

I need more boxes to do, so I have decided to make another Pizza box (like the brown one) a little bit bigger and i'm going to make boxes of cards as gifts for people at christmas...only small ones mind..!

Well hubby will be home for tea soon so I best show you the cards (all 3 of them)...

A surprise in the box...

Hi ladies,

I'm back to doing the things I love the most.. Lol... making a mess and driving my hubby up the wall.. with bits of cut out paper trailing around me...

I can get into my room at last.... It feels as if it has been forever...

The bed/craftroom is plastered and painted all there is to do now is put some skirting on, I hope to get this done in the next few weeks as I want to get shelves etc and sort my stash.. I'm just using scraps and basic stuff just now as I have no idear where anything is or I just can't get to it..

I have made a couple of cards but I will save them for a rainy day or when I have lost my "Mojo" which is not very often but it does happen..

I had a wonderful day with my grandchildren yesterday although my grandaughter was a bit on the shy side....I will also add a couple of photos of them.. They may even be the photos that I add to this little book and give it to my daughter in law Gail who gave me my most treasured possetion.. a photo album full of pictures...

The papers used for the box and album are from CraftWork Cards based over in Leeds.. They have some yummy christmas papers coming out this year.

Withdrawal Symptoms

Well I'm getting so tetchy and need to get crafting. I'm behind with some RAKs and this months will be due to go out soon too. If you are one of the ladies from PCP reading this and are due an RAK I am so so sorry that it will be late.

As you know my bedroom/craftroom is in the middle of being decorated etc but my hubby is so ill at the moment i'm not rushing him to do much. The doctor has said he has had the Swine Flu but it can take up to 6 weeks to clear properly. When the doctor did his blood preasure he said it is exactly the same as the last time he had it done... in 1992..! Yeah he hates to go see the doc.

I have tomorrow off work so I may get to paint a couple of walls. i will not be able to put new skirting on but that can wait. Over the weekend I may be able to move my grandbaby's new pram and the car seat and the nappy wrapper, my excersize machine etc and get to my stash and do a little bit although I don't know if I will get to what I want as it is all stacked up!

My will be getting bitten to the wick if something doesn't get sorted sooooon......!

What's in the Box....!

Now you may be wondering what I have been up to...

It has to be another box as I have far too many cards.. This box however is very very special as it is to introduce everyone to my first grandaughter whom I will be going to see on Friday. They live so far away and we are all busy people so I only get to see them once every so often. When Courtney gets older I may let her have the box but for now it is my pride and joy and I can look at it whenever I want to..

Black may seem an odd colour but with pink it stands out very well and I Love it...! I keep adding embelishments if and when I come across one that is nice enough as nothing but the best will do.

I hope you like the box as much as I enjoy looking at it.

When I meet with them next week I hope to be getting more up to date photos. I now also need to find another nice box and do a blue Thomas the tank Engine one with photos of Cian my Welsh grandson who is Courtneys older brother.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Courtney...

She will be the grand old age of 2 ;o)

Oh and then I best get another box for who ever it may be that will arrive in November. We do not know if it is to be a boy or girl as mum and dad want a surprise...

Georges (my Hubby) son and his girlfriend had a baby girl last Thursday "Lottie" (Charlotte Matilda).

I need to get even more boxes..... As the grandchildren are now coming thick n fast I think these boxes could be nice for christmas presents... What do you think?

I'm just back from my wonderful week (just short of) away.. I'm going back though in 48 hours with my old(best not let her see this bit) school friend as she is arriving from cambridge on friday.

My bedroom has been plastered.. YEAH.. I now need about a month to get it painted and back in use as a craftroom.. Hubby has said not to put a bed back in there, but I will have to think about that..

The story so far..

I just love to decorate boxes and make albums to put inside (I even bought a pair of cups and saucers yesterday just for the box, the cups are that small they may as well go outside a dolls house with a plant in...!)

The box I'm showing you today was a plain brown box with an accordian style album inside it ready to decorate.. If I buygift boxed (you know the boxes I mean.. you could stand on them they are that sturdy) aftershave or perfume for people as presents they are given with the demand that they do Not ever throw the box away it must come

back to me.....! (What am I like?).

This one I was just going to use for my sons wedding photos but then decided it was to be used for my best photos...(I didn't take a picture of the page when my grandson had an ear infection, I must add it just to warn you how bad a childs ear infection can get so be warned..!!).

The other photo I must mention is of my hubby and my youngest son at my nieces wedding, It is the best photo ever of these 2 together even though we were on our way out through the middle of the dance floor believe it or not.. Oh and the one of my youngest son as Best Man, The Bride and Groom too, I best not forget that there is one of me and my grandson too.... Oh here have a look for yourselves... After showing my friends the notebook I posted yesterday they have asked me to make them some for christmas stocking fillers..

I had started some more last night.. Yeah I was sat on my bed...Lol.. I know that there is always plenty of room on my bed...!

I added some beads ( I do love working with them) I also wake up with them stuck to me though at times....

I also need to make some for boys..

Does anyone know the best glue to use on the spines of books etc.. I have heard of Hodge Podge glue but never seen any..

Have you notice the Link to Pink Gems to win the candy.. Well my son has just called and had a moan (he must take after me) and after asking him to read an email sent to me by Marie my new best friend from PCP (Paper Craft Planet) to tell me how it is done, he read it and took over so it is a very basic post with a link that you must take a peek at as the stamps from there are fantastic. Thanks for coming back... I didn't think I would have time to do this before work but as I have here it is...
I was playing in bed last night (keep it clean Please)and made a note book. There is a stall on our local market selling plain notebooks with no cover on them and as they are very cheap (they are closing down)I got £5 worth and am going to have a look later to see if they have any left. I love a bargain...
The little cards I made a few days ago but the photos I took were not very good.

I will be selling the notebooks at a car boot in a couple of weeks time.

It's Christmas...

Well It is a christmas card again for me today... You can blame Tabby (I follow her blog daily) and she had a card made with a cute snowman stamp from Pink Gem (here in the UK) last week and I had had my eye on these for a while... even down to putting them in my basket then at the last moment thought.. "No you are on a spending ban"...Lol.. as most of you know that lasted all of 2-3 hours ;o)
Well after seeing her card I just could not stop myself... My fingers have a mind of their own and if the laptop is on my knee well...! I have tried smacking my hand and even just sitting on them but it never works and I don't get much done that way...!
That's enough of my 'Rabbiting' for today...

My card.. I love the colour combo and the image.. Oh and the large snowflake I bought last year but never got around to using them.. A card is not a card any more unless I have added some sort of beading....or charm..
The thing I never seem to be satisfied with is the colour effect of the snow.. I think I just do a little too much..! Never mind I will try again..

Friday Night..!

Well.. it's friday evening and there is nothing on the tv to watch so before all the light has gone I thought I would take a couple of photos to add to my blog... I'm not happy with the quality but never mind.. I think a new camera is on the very top of my christmas wish list.. What year I could get one I don't know, but I won't hold my breath...

The swimming Tilda is a little poorly, as when i came to ink her up she only had one full eye the other just a circle..I thought it was just my normal rubbish stamping effort so I tried again... No she looked a bit odd so I had a try at penning in the circle but she just did not look right. The pressure was not the same if you know what I mean... I have never had a problem with any of the magnolia stamps before and i do have a fair few, so I phoned the craft shop and she has told me to return it no problem and out of the 3 others she had left she had another one the same...
Poor old Tilda..... Anyway I just had to make a card with one of the stamped images I made... so I hope you can't see what I can see.... I could make a get well card with the bad image I have left...
The other card (another very Pink one)I'm not so sure about the embellishment and may change it..
Well i'm sory it is a short and sweet post but I will be back to "Rabbit" on a bit over the weekend...Have a great weekend and please call back and leave me some Love..

Yes I know you have been missing
me... Lol.. but I'm here now.... I have been busy making my
next door neighbours wedding invitations...and a very very pink door hanger as I enjoyed making the last one and using up a lot of my scrap paper too.
Some of the papers used are from RAKs sent from new friends on PCP..
Have you ever been on there? You can meet some wonderful people from all over the world..
You have to be careful though as you can start talking on the chat line with some very strange people for a good and very funny Hour....!! Lol
Yeah you know who you are ;o) I always end up burning our tea if I'm not careful...
I think she knows i'm joking it happens only once a day...
The answer to the question you asked earlier about the magnolia stamp is on the magnolia group... Enough of the chat..

The wedding invitations were to be very plain and simple (just how I like it).
They were my wedding gift to Claire and James along with some favours, but they will not be done for a while yet.. Yes they will be on my blog when they are done..
They are in Pink too...!

My new door/wall hanging is in every shade of pink you could think of... Last year I was not a lover of PINK..!
I'm not sure if there is a limit to the photos you can add I one go on your blog but I best just pick the best ones or you will still be here looking tomorrow..

Door Plaque/Hanging...

Well Hello there...
I have had my monday off as usual other than not taking the gentleman out to the bank and shopping as I have had a problem today... I keep having to go to the loo.. That is all i'm saying..Lol...

It is also a sad day today as I have just been told this morning that one of my other clients has passed away.. He was taken very ill last week so I've been helping his wife a little bit more.I'm back there again tomorrow for a few hours.

I'm so behind with lots of things.. I desperately need to get to the post office etc to post some late RAKs.
I have had chance to play a little today and finish off something that I started last week....There is only 1 square to do now...
There is not much more for me to say today.. just to add the photos. I hope to be back tomorrow but if not I promise to be back by thursday...

I'm getting a bit bored of all this tidying..... I need to craft....
Now you know i'm telling "Porky Pies".. Lol... I have been sorting and throwing bits of itsy bitsy scraps of paper that I just think that I could punch the tiniest flower from....as we do.. even card that has been the backing of that wonderful new gadget that you have just bought (well about 3 years ago in my case!)

I have put the finishing touches onto these 2 cards today and have put verses inside huggings of cards and put them into pollybags now and boxed them in the boxes i got from Ikea yesterday... I have also had a bit of a brainwave (what do you mean Oh No not again).. The shoe storage things that you can buy with velcro fastenings that hang inside your wardrobe to hold about 10 pairs and you can buy the boxes (as I did yesterday) too to fit.... well my 4x4 cards fit in there nice and snug so that is what I intend to buy next week...I was going to just put bits and bobs in the boxes as they are long and thought that the long sizzix die cut borders would live in them....
I should rewrite that but I'm sure you can work it all out....! You know i'm a bit too busy just now..

I'm still on my scraps cards today.. and I was going to say no Magnolias either but as you can see I have used the cat and the dog....!!
The other little pooch is from Sugar Nellie and most of you will know that the little truck is from Stamping Up... The little metal frames are from an RAK friend over at Paper Craft Planet..

I'm going to give my neighbour some of these cards as she has sold more cards for me again so it will be a little "Thank You" from me..She is deaf and she takes them to the deaf club...

Well, I came down from playing (and tidying) to have a chat with Marie on Paper Craft Planet but I missed her as I had not been onto my blog so only just got her message to say she would be early ;o( as I came into the room I put on the Tv as I had been watching QVC and thought I will listen to the radio but I must turn it down or Marie would not hear me... ! Mmmmm.
Yeah... it was a little Crazy Senior Citizen moment....! I know I have them all the time..

Scraps Only...

Well I'm sorry but I did not manage to do any more of the new nellies but I may get some done tomorrow.....
I have been on another tidy up mission.. although I have still
been playing but ( there's always a but).. only with any scraps of paper from my ever growing mountain on the floor at the side of my bed.... I'm always playing in bed...
Now now then, keep it clean ladies...!
My hubby is on a mission to decorate ASAP as he is fed up with my MESS ;o(
I have no idea what he means ;o)

I have not even used a Magnolia on these cards and I have used my 4x4 envelopes that i bought especially for smaller cards to use up my bits of scrap paper.. I hate waste, It must be due to being one of Seven children and my mum hated waste....

So these are my creations for today...

New Sugar...

I was one of the very lucky ladies to buy the new Sugar Nellies home grown stamps last week, although with decorating over the last 2 days I have only just managed to make a card... I have used my Sekura pens today.. I've not used them for a while..
These little beauties sold out with in about 48 hours.. There are 4 of them and have managed to put them all onto card but need to make some more up so I only have one card for you tonight...
I will make up for it though in the next couple of days....
Hubby says we are decorating my craft room without having it plastered so it could be done next week... Where am I going to put all that lovely stash...Lol.. I know where hubby would like to put it.. but it would have to be over my dead body.. he reckons even that cold be arranged ;o(
So if you don't hear from me in a while please send the cops around looking under the patio here or at the chalet...

Well here I am as promised yesterday with piccies of the long lost stamp...Lol..!
Yeah.. i'm early but we have to decorate today as hubby is off work until thursday morning and I only need to nip out to take someone shopping in the next hour, so I need to hide my laptop away (I may just take it upstairs so that I can have a bit of a 'Hop' tonight).

I have made 2 cards (no I don't sleep) using the same papers as they are fabby papers bought from The Hobby House. (The post man has just been too with my new Sugar Nellies of the Home Grown style... ;o))

Hubby just asked when we finish decorating the room do I want the furniture putting back in the same place etc... I say my furniture moving days are over but if he wants the sofa and tv etc in a different place I don't mind.. We used to have a Taxi business until we grew up and got proper jobs...He used to come home in the early hours some nights and I had moved the bed so he always ended up stubbing his toes.. ;o)

i'm just putting off add the sweetest images.. One is from the new Magnolia Summer kit and the other is a long lost never been used sweetie...!
I hope to be back tomorrow if he has not sealed my laptop shut as he is sat tapping his feet....! As always..

Well it's just a little blog today (she says..).
As you know (that's if there is anyone out there..!)I hate to tidy
my craft room as I just don't have the time or inclination to do so..
I always say I know where everything is when it's a mess (other than, my half a dozen or so Poky tools that i've had to buy and the odd packet of brads.. you get what i'm saying.. Lol..!)
Well i'm smiling very broadly now as;

A. I have found that I do have a carpet, although it is or was peppered with squashed brads, gems, tiny flowers etc.

B.My desk is clear ( should I say it's getting there.)so I am now richer to the tune of 35p. Don't even ask.....!

C. There is a place for everything and everything is nearly in it's place ;o)

D I have found the one thing lost for some time now and I'm over the moon
I have found the cutest rubber stamp that has never been used and it has driven me to despair that I knew I had it but was nowhere to be found...

But i'm not going to tell you who she is... You will just have to come back tomorrow to see.......!

I'm gong back now to see what other treasures there are hidden in what I call my craft room.. This cleaning lark can be so much fun... Not...

See you tomorrow, well I would love to SEE you but it's just a thing that sits on my knee and it talks to me sometimes ;o)

It's the best part of the day when I get on to my blog and have a good old chat to the computer hoping that there is someone out there that will read it and have a laugh or leave me some love....!

I can see the carpet in my craft room today..Lol.. I have been playing but tried using my desk rule..! I can only make a card or finish a card using things that are laying around on my desk.. So half a dozen cards later (and more) my desk was getting clearer.. I was fed up with tripping over boxes so I picked them up and put them away. I even made room for my 12x12 boxes of stamps to go into the wardrobe with the others already there, however my son's dress suit will be a bit creased unless he takes it with him in the next hour when he calls..! If he does that then the other half a dozen 12x12 boxes with my 12x12 paper that is in my hubbies room, can also go into the wardrobe and I will have a happy Hubby.. ;o)

On paper craft planet I have a few of the ladies showing pictures of their craft rooms you should go and have a look on the RAK group.. They all put me to shame...Lol... but what do I care as long as I know where everything is...Mmmmmm!

Well I best show you a couple of finished cards and stop waffling on....
The Blue card was made with scraps of paper lying around and a little bit of red that I had been using on christmas cards last week. The image was sent o me by one of the RAK girls..

The Red card was started ages ago with the flower charm and frame already attached to the card. I love the frame and this was cut on my cricut but I was not sure what to put in the middle of it..so the image I used came from the same RAK friend, then I just needed to add the lettering and the Candy dots that I get from CraftWork Cards down the road in Leeds.
Hope you like them.....
I will be back very sooooon maybe tomorrow but definitely on monday that's if I get time to play.. Lol.. and you know I will..!

Well what a daft post it was that I did yesterday..Lol...!
It's a good job you all know me well enough by now to know that I'm totally "Barmy"..!

The paper I was not sure of is the new Lemonade paper by Basic Grey..!
As you must know as i'm on here my craft room has been in use today...
The paper I know is by My Minds Eye.. the fab images was sent to me by Norma one of my new friends on Paper Craft Planet, we did an image swap..
Yeah... I got my McGill paper punch too as you can see with the leaves i've used, again I have made some "scrunch" flowers embelished with some more of the wonderful buttons bought on the East coast of the UK...and the charms from The Hobby House...

Oh yes doing my blog..;o)

I had to place the flower on the right down there as I had done a "Happy Accident" by dropping my brush so there was an extra brush mark to the side of his leg...
I was not sure whether to make it into a Birthday card or an Anniversary card so just added Totally Special to the front.
I think I like this card, as over the last few days I've notbeen sure about the others made.
My friends liked it too.. they also brought me a bag of dirty dusters and cloths to wash which was nice of them...! Ok they were my 2 fantastic full time staff Clare and Sharon but still my mates which is how they became my staff they wanted to do it.. How great is that.. We laugh more than ever now and our elderly clients join in too..
I will have to ask if I can put their photo on here soon as I was asked last week if i would only because I mentioned they now have their uniforms.. (it looks better).
I best go and clean a little bit.. Well an hour will do the trick, but then again it gets dark so early now so may do it later. That is my excuse for today ;o0

Thanks to Barbara on PCP (Paper craft Planet) I didn't have to tidy my room..Lol..
She is my saviour for the day, I live another day to craft and not to tidy.... I clean for a living so if I can get away with not cleaning my craft room then I will just play. As you all know the more stash you use the less stash there is to tidy so that is my way of thinking for today, I wonder what excuse I will have tomorrow...! Yeah you will have to come back and see....
Now what have I been doing then with my free time;;
Shopping, Washing, and PLAYING...
My cards are all made with something iv'e not tried before.
The Pale Pink card is made from material, I bought this from The Hobby House here in the UK and used my sewing machine to sew it onto a piece of white card smaller than my 8x8 and added the 3 smaller squares... I did not have a clue what I was doing just messing about..! as you do when your mind goes blank. I need to fray the smaller squares a little bit and add a quote somewhere too.
The Green card I love and wanted to try and make some flowers that were scrunched up so I cut them out on my cricut with the Walk in the Garden cartridge.. How many time have I been tempted to sell this one as I don't use it that often. I do not have any of the spray glimmer mist thingys so used my rub on metallic lustre stuff...! I hope you all know what I mean as I forget the proper names of some stash...! The leaves are beautiful velvety and by prima. The buttons in the middle of my flowers are from my wonderful new friend Maggie on the East coast of the Uk in the market..
The last card is done with lots of new paper and I will have to let you know who they are by as my mind has done a runner for the moment......something "The Hill" or Cherry something.. I think.. by i'm rubbush at this.....;o(
You all know the image is from the new magnolia summer kit and the was coloured with my whispers pens again..
I'm now very late putting our tea on and hubby will be home sooooon.

Very Special

Well it's blog time again.. I'm sure I was only here 5 minutes ago.
Hubby has gone to chalet to fix the water heater and is not back until next wednesday ready for his shift next thursday.. I'm going to join him after a very busy day tomorrow until I ave to return next tuesday to do a little job. i'm not taking any craft stuff with me (what am I saying) but am taking a couple of books to read....
I may have to re think that statement and think about it for a while...Lol.!

I've made a very special card today for my grandson who will be 4 two week today..This card will be probably from my son as I like to send a bigger card...
I have the Seasame street cricut cartridge and never used it yet so it could be a card made with something from there from 'grannie Peg'(nick name given to me by my son and hubby due to my bad leg...)
I'm just going to add this picture then I'm going to the fish shop... I'm not cooking just for myself even though I have had a day off today..... I may as well let someone else do the cooking ;o)

I love this image even though he is quite old now..! The paper was sent in an RAK and I have used my whispers pens to colour.
